    In April of 2020, Wes started Wally Opus as a way to provide recording and production to artists he was meeting around Southern Indiana. It’s since become his life’s work. Husband to Chloe, Dad of two, Full Sail Grad.

    In February of 2020, she married Wes, who, a few months later, officially created Wally Opus. Chloe manages finances, is a mama of two sweet babies, a real estate agent in Southern Indiana, and lover of books and people.

    Sam started with Wally Opus as an artist (Swamp Eyes), but he quickly became obsessed with the positive and collaborative nature of the company. He's been working in marketing for the last two decades and enjoys enjoys experimenting with new tactics to help fresh bands get the attention they deserve.

    He joined the Wally Opus crew to hook up aspiring artists with killer brand and release strategies to help their music reach its full potential! There is nothing more rewarding than showing an artist what they are capable of with the right plan.

    PHOTOGRAPHER

    A trained vocalist, "Kota" joined Wally in the spring of 2024 to put his passion for music and especially artists and musicians, to work as the label's in-house photographer. The dude loves the spontaneous and dynamic nature of concert photography and brings to life the vision of each artist in his photoshoots. "I am dedicated to our artist’s success more than my own."

    WEST COAST COORDINATOR

    Passionate about putting her talents back into the community she's from, Chloe found a home at Wally Opus, a homegrown record label in her hometown. She loves to talk and build connections with artists as well as be a helping hand where she can. Currently a student at UCLA, she is also a DJ at UCLA Radio.

Why Indiana?

At Wally Opus, we believe in the process of Discovery. When I returned from LA to Indiana, I felt called to find my next thing in the land where I was born and raised. Unconventional at the time, to make music and build a career doing so in Southern Indiana. But from the moment I returned, I soon met fascinating characters making music and longing for ways to get their work packaged and sent out to the rest of the world. Born was Wally Opus.

By working and living in southern Indiana, we can embody a blue-collar work ethos applied to unconventional kinds of work. Here, we can also find great things where no one else is looking. By staying small, scrappy, and resourceful, we can be fast, agile, and inline with the needs of those we serve.
